Brass Inspirational Charm Necklace

Link of Hearts designs are simple and minimal, but their INTENTION sets them apart. Most companies give monetary donations; our mission is to inspire and connect with someone directly... to touch one's heart and encourage someone to get through one more day... and be a voice to help fight the stigma of mental illness.  Every piece we design comes with an inspirational word/phrase.  We believe one simple word on a piece of jewelry or any piece of item is a positive, powerful daily reminder of hope.  That is the purpose.  That is the mission.

  Elizabeth Tiglao-Guss

"I battled depression and anxiety for about 6 years.  I spent the next 4 years getting well, finding myself and searching for meaning.  For 10 years, I was estranged from my own life. Depression is dark, painful and ugly.  I remember it all and I too, suffered in silence.  Now, I am sharing my story with the intention to connect with people dealing with depression or anyone else in need of Inspiration.  My story is only one of the millions of others faced with this illness and suffering in silence.

Wearing jewelry with an inspirational message was one of the things that helped keep me going during my years of struggle. Now, I am creating jewelry and other products that I hope will help and inspire someone as much as it's helped me. I hope to connect and inspire, one person at a time, one piece at a time."

Elizabeth moved to Los Angeles with her husband in 2013.  She left her family and friends behind on the East Coast, left the job that she loved, to support her husband’s career and start a fresh, new life in sunny California.

A few months into her new life, Elizabeth felt as if she needed to do something and make a difference, while there was an opportunity, as she was still looking for the next right career path. Having survived her own battle with depression, she decided to help and reach out to those who are struggling and feel alone in this misunderstood illness.

Elizabeth is creative with years of digital marketing, graphic and web design experience. She also loves jewelry, especially pieces with inspirational messages, which provided her with hope and inspiration during her own struggle.  She thought, why not learn how to make jewelry and give them to people suffering from depression and in need of inspiration?

As a result, Link of Hearts was born.  We are joining the movement to be socially conscious and help others through our story and effort. One piece.  One message.  One voice.  One link.  Connecting & Inspiring.  Every piece of jewelry provides a message of hope and gives voice to those struggling alone in silence.  With every purchase, Link of Hearts will give one piece of jewelry to someone in need, that has an inspirational word …HOPE, TRUST, LOVE, BELIEVE, among others.  Together, we can give the gift of hope and help fight the stigma of mental illness.

Link of Hearts will focus on those battling depression and other mental illnesses. We are connecting with support groups at behavioral centers, psychiatric and rehab clinics, and pediatric hospitals.  The possibilities are endless.  Please support this project and share it with your family and friends.
